Full Stack Developer
As a Full Stack Developer at Ampotech, you will work closely with the product team to expand and improve the capabilities of the AmpoCloud software platform for managing and analyzing energy data. The scope of work includes optimizing the use of AWS tools/resources for IoT systems, designing scalable databases and device management tools, and implementing front-end features.
Ideally you will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in software development. Experience working with IoT platforms or developing infrastructure for time series data, machine learning & data analytics platforms is a strong plus.
Embedded Systems Engineer
As an Embedded Systems Engineer at Ampotech, you will work with the product team to develop and test new IoT devices for use in smart buildings. The scope of work includes developing firmware, developing hardware, preparing product documentation such as specifications/manuals, and testing devices in the lab and the field.
Ideally you will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of experience. Proficiency in C/C++ embedded programming and familiarity with Linux/OpenWRT is required. Experience designing/developing measurement devices is a plus.
As a Data Scientist at Ampotech you will work with power consumption data generated from multiple buildings across several countries and develop equipment state and anomaly detection algorithms. In this role, you will work with the CTO and supporting staff such as software developers and data engineers to bring these algorithms into the production environment.
Ideally you will have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics and at least 2 years of experience in industry or an applied research environment. Experience working with Python and experience working with time series data is required.
