Ampotech is one of 10 global energy startups selected as finalists for the Building Energy Challenge 2020. The program, organized by New Energy Nexus and co-sponsored by the Asian Development Bank's ADB Ventures, attracted over 130 applications from companies hailing from 32 countries.
The program brings together innovative early stage companies and corporations in commercial property and energy intensive industries with the aim of accelerating adoption of energy efficiency solutions in Southeast Asia. Through one-on-one matchmaking sessions, pilot projects, and interaction with ADB Ventures and other investors the Building Energy Challenge 2020 will help ASEAN countries reach their target of increasing energy efficiency 20 percent by 2020 and 30 percent by 2025.
