We are seeking an experienced IT/IoT Engineer for Building Management System to spearhead Ampotech’s growth in Vietnam.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain IoT solutions related to Building Management System, Metering system or Industrial Monitoring system
• Integrate and manage industrial gateway and devices using communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, BacNet, mBus, etc.) for efficient system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networks, industrial communication.
• Write and maintain scripts in Linux shell and Python to get data from industrial devices and monitoring device health status.
• Support fieldwork to install, configure, and test system components and ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support and training to team members and clients.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building management systems, IoT, SCADA systems, or metering systems.
• Strong knowledge of computer networks and industrial communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, BacNet, mBus, etc.).
• Proficient in Linux, shell scripting, Python programming, and network troubleshooting.
• Domain knowledge in HVAC system, water meter, power meter, BTU meter, industrial sensors is a strong plus
• Experience in fieldwork and hands-on installation, configuration, and testing of system components is a plus.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
• Currently available and can start work as soon as possible is an advantage.
• Can work overtime as required by the project demands and workload at that time
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
