Singapore-based internet of things startup Ampotech was one of several companies selected to showcase homegrown building technology innovation at the launch of the Built Environment Accelerate to Market Programme (BEAMP) on Friday.
The programme, initiated by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore with support from Enterprise Singapore and JTC Corporation, aims to build up a vibrant ecosystem of innovators to support the transformation of the Built Environment Sector. A total of 16 industry problem statements seeking solutions were submitted by participating companies such as Surbana Jurong, JTC Corporation, and SoilBuild.
Minister for National Development and Second Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong opened the event and highlighted Ampotech in his speech:
