William Temple

William is an accomplished technical leader with over 13 years of experience working with energy systems and the built environment. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and a M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, where he won the Bart Conta Prize in Energy and the Environment. His work experience prior to founding Ampotech includes managing an R&D center in Singapore and working as an HVAC design engineer for new construction projects. He is a Singapore Certified Energy Manager and co-author of over 20 technical publications relating to energy systems, electricity markets, and industrial cyber security.

Zhou Ziling

Ziling is an experienced system architect and engineer with more than 10 years of experience. He holds a M.Sc. In Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and was formerly a PhD student in Computer Science at NUS, where he won the Best Paper Award at ACM SIGCOMM 2010. In his time at Ampotech, Ziling has led the development of intelligent internet of things devices and the IoT platform, and has led award-winning research and development projects, including a project that won an ASEAN Energy Award.

Gan Wah Teng

Founding Partner & SCE Mgmt Team Gan Wan Teng has over 30 years of backend related semiconductor industry. He has worked in many functional areas, from Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing to General Management.

He has extensive experience in running large global operations and organizations. Gan Wan Teng graduated with B. Eng (Hons) 1982 from England, U.K.

Namrata Singh

Namrata is an Investments Principal with Clime Capital. She is an investment professional with 13 years of experience across emerging markets including India and South-East Asia. Namrata has invested across sectors including Clean Energy (solar, energy storage and alternative fuels) and Technology (IT services).

In her previous role, Namrata was a Vice President with the private equity team at Everstone Capital, an alternative asset manager with USD 7 Bn of assets under management. In this role, she was involved in several cross-border private equity transactions.

Namrata was previously a Senior Manager with Tata Group, the largest Indian conglomerate. She was responsible for venture capital investing in the clean technology sector.

Namrata holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur in India, and a Bachelor’s (Honours) in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, India. Namrata has completed CFA Level 3.
