Ampotech recently held a Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Locator Event at the Cavite Economic Zone, Philippines, engaging with industrial businesses to showcase how digital solutions can unlock measurable energy savings and support sustainability goals.

Organized in collaboration with PEZA as part of the sustainability initiative announced in December 2025, the event highlighted innovative approaches to improving ESG data collection and energy efficiency across economic zones in preparation for broader regional initiatives in the Philippines and ASEAN.

Demonstration Project: Advancing Sustainable Industrial Operations

With energy costs rising, sustainability is quickly becoming a top priority for governments and businesses. As part of the collaboration with PEZA, Ampotech introduced a demonstration project taking place in the Cavite Economic Zone, designed to showcase how integrated energy and sustainability solutions can be deployed at scale with public facilities and private-sector locators.

The project scope includes:

• Electricity and water metering across facilities: Enabling real-time visibility into resource consumption at a granular level

• ESG data integration and reporting: Consolidating energy and operational data to support sustainability reporting and compliance

• AI-driven automation for energy efficiency: Leveraging intelligent analytics to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization actions

• Distributed energy resource (DER) management: Supporting integration of solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to optimize energy use and reduce reliance on grid power

This demonstration will include a centralized operation center at PEZA headquarters to monitor activities and sustainability metrics and provide a platform to showcase results.

Opportunities for PEZA Locators

Ampotech is inviting companies within the Cavite Economic Zone to participate in this demonstration project. The project aims to showcase at least 10 companies from diverse industries, with preference for:

• Energy-intensive facilities
• Companies with existing ESG or sustainability reporting initiatives
• Existing solar photovoltaic system

Companies selected for the demonstration project will obtain a free expert assessment to uncover energy savings potential, access to Ampotech’s energy management system for a trial period at no cost, and increased brand exposure through marketing activities during the project period.
